The professionals are carefully selected from a long list of applicants, with the aim of only selecting the best in their field. One of their eventual aims is to change the way books are published; developing manuscripts from the first word and seeing them through the entirety of production.
The main tool (Book Editor) has been developed for writers, providing them with a distraction free space to create their manuscripts. The book editor formats the text while it’s being written and will soon allow for collaborative writing on the document. By combining the book editor with a selection of established editors, Reedsy is becoming a space where writers can develop their craft.

One other service provided for writers are writing prompts; these are twitter-esque snippets created with for sole purpose of helping writers, write.
